No - nearest train station is Lorca, about 45 minutes away (or Almería, just under an hour the other direction)

No train station as of yet but one is scheduled to be built as Vera is going to be one of the stops when the high speed link to Almeria is opened...

That's what was confusing us as it kept mentioning it but the date was 2011 and someone said it was built  Thankyou we can just go to the nearest one .

Isnt aguilas closer than lorca ??. Theres a station there

Yes ... and no :-D Águilas is closer, but Lorca is straight down the E15 and quicker to get to I think.  Águilas is a bit crowded this time of year.
