Humidity
Morning- can you give me some advice on
copping with the 90% humidity in the summer months. Are people still able to be out and about, or do you need to stay in with the aircon/fans on ?
Thank you

It’s not so high here in Almeria. We drove through France and Spain last July and some towns were like ghost towns with everything shut as it was so hot and humid. You must remember that temperatures of over 40 c were commonplace. It’s never stopped us doing the normal day to day things here though. It was the hottest summer we’ve experienced since we bought in 2006.
As I got older I found the humidity difficult to cope with, and had to choose times to go out to get shopping etc carefully, especially last year, everyone is different, what suits one doesn't another.

The traditional way of life in Andalucia with an afternoon siesta is for a good reason! Between 2 and 6 in the summer it is uncomfortably hot - so do what the Spanish do and have a meal then rest. The beauty of the climate here is that you can then go to the beach or pool and swim in the early evening and it stays warm all night and perfect for al fresco eating and drinking.
