Hi
If you are already a resident for several years but have moved recently, where do you go to change the address on your residency card, if you live in Vera Playa

we moved from Arboleas to Mojacar and were told that we did not need to amend the address on our green residencia certificates we have registered on the padron and informed traffic through CATS services. The residencia cards are no longer in use.

Spain has announced that residents obtaining Residencia as from July will likely start receiving TIE cards - it is STILL the Residencia application, but you’ll get TIE instead of Residencia.
Those of us who already hold the green cards do NOT need to change. They will continue to be recognised, however if you’ve got the older green certificates, it may be worth your while updating, especially if you intend to travel after the transition period ends.
I was advised by my Asesora that if I changed address, it was obligatory to change the address on your green card, in much the same way a Spanish citizen is obliged to update their DNI card if they change address.
