Thanks for the reply. Here's "Rugs" (always underfoot...!) looking very nervous after adopting strange human. She thinks she is at the top of the food chain and proves it every chance she gets (cooked chicken, mostly)

I've put a pin in the map. Where are you?

David

Hi, hope this is more informative. If you can get a copy of the free monthly The Almeria Focus Magazine and Directory you will find 4 full pages of such info at the back. The magazine is usually at any Brit shops like Iceland in Vera.

Loads and loads of clubs and activities but often personal transport required.

Best of luck,

Bob and Sandra

Hi Bob and Sandra

I did manage to get a hold of the Focus thank you. I have transport so getting around is not a problem for me. It's just finding ways to meet people as I am on my own here with my wee cat.

I got a reply about a get together in Mojácar on Wednesdays at midday which I'm going to go along to and have found out about Spanish lessons also in Mojácar starting on 15 February so I'll go to that too.

Thank you very much for replying to me

Regards

Elaine xx

Hi David

I'm in Vera Playa at Thalassa.

Hi

I moved to Turre 6 months ago, and am thoroughly enjoying it. I have found the best way to get involved is to  join the local forums on Facebook. Lots of information on groups to join. There is a very informative and friendly  group at the Rose + Crown in Mojacar, they meet weekly. It's...

... a nice way to get to know newbies. if you want to meet up for coffee for a chat just let me know.

Kind regards

Jane

I would be intetested i facebook group we are moving to alfoquia
