Hi all,
My wife and I are visiting the Vera area in mid November for 5 days to check out properties for sale in the local area.
Help appreciated in any recommendations accommodation wise. Searches keep throwing upValle Del Este hotel which I think might make a good base while we are here.
As stated any other suggestions or other advice you think might be useful to us on our first visit would be helpful.

Valle de Este is quite a distance from Vera Playa and Mojacar and will be impossible if you don't have transport.
You will be better off looking for a base in Mojacar if that is your target area. Air bnb might throw up some stuff as might booking.com

Actually your best bet might be Hostal Manolo which is very reasonable and easy to get to Garrucha, and Vera playa. If you haven't a car there is a local bus stop nearby that would take you to Mojacar. Very reasonable prices and although Spanish are used to English speaking people. Look up their web site. Certainly more accessible to everywhere on the coast than Valle del Este, unless you are avid golfers.
If you want a nice location not too expensive I can highly reccomend the Hotel Continental in Mojacar, right on the beach, on local bus routes if required and near to bars and restaurants, great location, lovely staff....
When I stayed this summer to look for property, I stayed at the lovely Hotel Simón in Mojácar. It’s on the hill below the pueblo, with easy access all over due to the bus stop just outside. I paid about 400€ for a 7-night stay. There is a pool too. A traditional Spanish style oldy-worldy hotel but spotless and excellent value. You can find it on Booking.com.

Look for the Best tropical we stayed in November three years ago,Half broad with flights 7 nights 2of us for a really good price.Bought are property gave our solicitor power of attorney and came back January for the keys .Moved over April 2019,
