Spaniards and expats in Vera are resolute people. Provided you keep a distance of 2 metres from everybody and observe any other Covid-19 restrictions you will have no problems. They are aware of the way Mr Johnson and his government and his advisors treated the situation in the UK and still the Spaniards and expats will welcome you. But "open arms" are on hold.

In that case you'll have some concerns:-
1. Pints are a third of the Dublin prices.
2. Eating out is at least quarter that of Dublin prices.
3. You'll need Factor 50.
4. You'll definitely need aircon in your accommodation.
5. Some people might have difficulty understand you. Therefore, speak more slowly.
6. Wearing of a Dubs GAA shirt will open doors for you.
7. Don't expect to jump on the equivalent of the Luas, DART etc.
