You are just a couple of minutes by car from a big Consum supermarket which has most things - it's 2 roundabouts away from you towards Garrucha. For local markets, Palomares 3 or 4 minutes in the other direction has a market on Wednesdays or there's the one at Villaricos a further 3 minutes up the coast on a Sunday which is our favourite.

Monika's just as you enter Palomares is good and popular with locals and expats alike. https://www.facebook.com/pacomonika/

There are a couple of pizza and other food places down the side road by Consum. There are probably bars closer but if so I haven't used them.

There are few nice bars on the Vera Player Hotel along with some night life your your one to stay up till the early hours, the Blue Parrot is a must for their fish and chips but all the food is nice they are an English couple Pete & Alison who just can do enough for you, if its not on the menu just ask and they will try to accommodate you, there is some live entertainment most Friday`s or Saturday`s so well worth a visit,

PS must try the meat balls

HI

The Consum is handy but if you have access to a car make a trip to the Mercadona, the prices are a lot cheaper and for us they have a better range on offer, if you really need UK food there is an Iceland on the main road to Vera on the left hand side.

Regards

Keith and Peter
