Medical advice
My husband & I are soon moving from Mazarrón, Murcia to Oria. We are both on the Spanish health system. I need to register with a doctor as I have ongoing medication. How do I register with a local Doctor?

Hi Vanessa,
I live in Oria, there are 2 doctors at the surgery one male one female, to register you have to take your card into the 'main' medical centre in Albox, they will then register you at the Oria surgery and tell you which doc you can see, you should stick to the doctor you are given except if your allocated doctor is away and then you can see who ever is there. When you go to the medical centre in Albox to do the initial registration you will need to take a translator with you unless you speak very good Spanish, the woman that does the registration there is really snotty if you go with limit Spanish and no translator. Here is a number of a local translator that I use her name is Jenny 660529295, in case you do need one.
Welcome to Oria
Jenni
Sorry Vanessa I meant to add, that its no good just taking your card into the Oria surgery, they will just send you to Albox.to register. Hope tis helps
