Can anyone advise please

I have private health insurance with Aegon

I am with Eurocliniacs in Vera

I need a smear test

What is the procedure?

Will I have to pay extra for this ?

There is a gynaecologist at Euro clinic I believe, so you would need to make an appointment. I suggest you ring your insurance co. to check that the cost is covered. I have just been to a lovely lady at Virgen del Mar in Almeria and also know there is a lady in Cuevas Dr Rosa I think her name is.

Dr Perdomo is the gynaecoloist at Euroclinicas - I see him for my appointments and have always been 100% happy. Euroclinicas does accept clients who have a policy with ASSSA insurance but you would need to check with your provider to see if they also use Euroclinicas. If you have to pay, consultation is around 20€ and smear test around 80€. Add onto this farmacia lab fees ( sorry I don't know the cost as my insurance covers this. The normal procedure is for you to walk up to the farmacia, at the top end of Vera, with your sample and they test it then let you know the results by email. Hope that helps.
