Can anyone advise me on the cost of the Toll from Murcia to Vera and whether this can be paid by card or cash only? My sister is flying into Murcia airport and wanted to know about the toll. She usually flies into Almeria. Thanks in advance

If you're in a car it's €13.90 for the full route to Vera. She'll have 2 toll booths: the first to take a ticket from the machine and the second near Vera to pay the person in the booth. We save up our loose change each visit and pay by cash but I'm pretty sure the toll booth takes cards as well. The full list of tariffs is in the attached image. She should come off at junction 800 and follow the signs to Almeria and the first toll booth is another 15 km. It's a great quiet & quick route and takes an hour and a quarter from San Javier Airport to Vera.

Hi Rob,
Thank you so much for this, it's really helpful! 👍 The Forum is so useful for finding things like this out. Thanks again

We've had a reply to this on our Facebook page if this is of any extra help:
There are main roads from Murcia to Vera that are toll free. If she has sat nav she should be able to travel with an 'avoid toll roads' function on it. Dont know how much toll is but each toll has either 'pay by cash' or special tokens. Hope this helps.

We come out of Murcia and head for Torre Pacheco and A30, look for RM2 that will get you onto A7/E15, come off that at the Antas ramp, theres a Poligono with a big Lopez ferretaria there, on the left, Isabel Alonso depot on the right, road to Vera is well signposted.

The cheapest way is going by A30, RM2 and A7, which is without toll. The shortest and fastest way is by the AP7 what´s a toll way. Avoiding toll is about 30 km more, but doesn´t cost as much as the 13,90 toll.
So you decide: Am I in a hurry or do I want it cheap.
