Getting to Vera Playa without a car

Hi we have an apartment in Thalassa Andalusia and to date have hired a car. A friend of mine wants to make use of the apartment but does not want to drive. I know there is a bus but I am worried how I give directions from the stop at Vera Playa to the apartment. Does anyone have thoughts on how best to do this? They will be travelling from Almeria airport, I wondered about getting the bus to say Mojacar and then a taxi to the door?
