Pros and cons of living at Valle Del Este

I’ve lived at VdE nearly 3 years now, love it here.  It is handy for both Garrucha and Vera.

The only con I could think of possibly is that you must have a car, because there’s no busses out this way

Thank you we know we will need a car we thought either hire one when we are out for a few weeks and use our bikes to get around. Or get the ferry and drive if we are there for a few months. Does that sound reasonable 👍

Certainly does - both Garrucha and Vera are well within cycling range (you can take the lesser travelled back road which goes directly towards Garrucha / Mojácar)

In which urbanización are you considering buying?

That sounds good. I’m not sure what it’s called it’s a small complex of quite modern apartments. If you stand in the garden you look up towards the hotel and the golf course is right at the bottom of the garden? Does that make sense ? The lady from the Pig and Fig lives there 👍

There’s 2 or 3 urbanizaciones that fit that description.  The golf course spreads out right around the whole estate, so many of the Urbs. Will have the course at the bottom of the garden.

I do know that they recently altered the golf hole at the bottom of the garden and made it into a dog leg to stop the balls hitting  the houses ???

The estate is quite vast - sorry, no idea which hole that is.  Our Urb. Backs onto hole 4, and that hasn’t hadn’t any work done to it ... so that’s one ruled out 😁
