remember you are only allowed 90 days in every 180 so 4 months all at once is too much.

Does that apply to Irish who are in the EU?

Hiya Sharon
I joined the local FB groups for Mojacar and for Vera ad kept a close eye on them for leads. I secured a nice place at a price I was comfortable with a couple of weeks ago. There are also lots of online agents such as angel properties, blue sea villas, idalfutur, Spanish property choice and so on. There is also idealista and kyero , Although I found enquiries to private owners on those platforms rarely Received any reply.
Good luck

Thanks yep. I find it hard to get replies on idealista. Also the prices you see advertised seem different when you put in the dates you want.
Tell me in general is everything extra ie electric, water, internet etc ?
Thanks for your reply

Most rentals for longer than a couple of months will be plus water and electricity and internet. Community and basura [rubbish] may well be included, you’d need to check. Some agencies charge a ‘standard’ or ‘average’ electricity and water charge, some agree to do actual meter readings. My rental has been arranged direct with the owner, and as it is for 6 months we have agreed that she will send me the actual bills and I will reimburse her for them, water and electric. Community, basura and internet are included in my contract payment.
Indalfutur had some decent properties when I looked at their website, and communicated well with enquiries. They’re a bit odd in that they dont advertise prices on the site, but I fund them very clear with their costs and pricing when I enquired what they had available in my budget/area
I also found blue sea villas very clear and helpful.

Thanks a mill for all the info. Yep it's 3- 6 months I am looking at for a friend. I just need to check if he can stay 6 months. I think so as an EU citizen but need to check it with someone.

Brexit won't effect him as he is Irish. But I think it is only 3 months allowed anyway.
Hi Sharon. When I book accommodation self catering or hotel, I usually use Booking.com. I prefer to spend a bit of time to weigh up pros and cons by reading the opinions of those who have previously rented. I would never go by just one recomendation.
