Hi

I don't see why not . Spain have agreed we can and the flights up to now are going ahead for August so unless things change drastically there is no other reason why your holiday won't go ahead.

We are flying to Almeria on 16th August with Ryanair the only thing that we are concerned about is the quarantine rules in the UK that we hope will be relaxed otherwise we won't be able to take another 2 weeks off work when my husband's work is struggling just to find the work then to be told after all this time he is having a month off that wouldn't be fair.

If that's the case we will leave it .

Good luck  !

Tracey

No flights by Jet2 from East Midlands to Almeria until May 2021. I know I’ve tried, had 2 cancelled. Booked with Ryanair instead .

Good luck xxx

if the flights are fully booked then will probably go ahead but if seriously underbooked they will probably be cancelled.   no airline will fly a plane without enough bodies on board to make a profit.

Hi Carol

I heard from a friend in UK today that Jet2 had cancelled their flight in August. They were flying to Almeria.

We have no indication why it was cancelled but there are a number of factors that the airlines and customers will consider.

First The airlines have no idea how much business there is likely to be and so they are probably just 'testing the waters' to see what sort of take up there is. An influencing factor of this is that the FCO is still advising not to travel and therefore travel insurance will be concern for prospective holiday makers.

Their business will could potentially be limited by hotel availability because of social distancing.

To start up an airline schedule from a 'cold start' is a logistical nightmare and so I'm sure cancellations and delays will happen anyway.

These are just my opinions only Carol - I have no firm evidence either way but I do hope you manage to travel, safely, and enjoy a holiday.

regards,

Whoopydo

We have flights booked for mid September,  Easyjet, from Southend to Murcia. I notice they are not starting up this route until September.

Hopefully all  will be well then though I am sure the number of flights and people on them, will be down.

Good luck and stay safe.
