it was saying that there was a bike run from 11.30 to 12.45 but don't think it went ahead

Yes it did go ahead, the ladies vuelta. We got stuck in Garrucha for nearly an hour and watched them go whizzing by, all roads closed were opened up quickly once all the support vehicles had also gone.
