Wanted: filtered water jug

Hi, not sure if you've bought one yet but I have one that I don't use anymore.  

After I put the water filter system in the house it became redundant.

You're more than welcome to it.  It's in very good, clean condition just needs a new cartridge.

There's a guy on Los Lantos market on Saturdays who sells complete under sink filter systems, long term probably a better option, we haven't used our filter jug in months, so much easier to buy 8 litre water bottles from the likes of Macgood, water comes from the Sierra Nevada mountains and is just under a € 1 a bottle. Other supermarkets do similar sized bottles but they tend to be flimsy and cumbersome. You can buy a pump for the bottles from markets and Asia shops.

We had ours fitted under the sink, cost €45.  Depends on the usage on how long the filter would last, was quoted 6 months, they come out and change the filter, think the charge is €20.  Haven't had to descale the kettle since.  Well worth the money.  Have seen water filters in Lopez up at antas.

Among other places in a store just north of Mercadona on the road to Bouganvilla, opposite of Tikar Hotel. They sell heater, fans, water kettles and more. Spanish store with at least on guy speaking excellent English. The hardware store on Calle Mayor in Garrucha also offers the Brita jar and filter.
