Hi Yvonne,

We have a rental apartment in Mojacar and we use Next Communications for internet.

You can get what they call a vacations account whereby you only pay when you use the apartment. Its controlled by you over the internet so you switch it on and off as and when the apartment is occupied.

Dead simple to use.

Hi Yvonne, I can concur with Crancrank's comments. You have to have it 'switched' on for 30 days each time. You set the dates up via their web site (once installed). On vacation mode, its something like 3Euro's (just over). When in use, its around 30E (with the relevant taxes).

A wifi router is about 39E when installed.  They also do a tv package (UK TV). Loads of channels. The 'unit' costs a one-off fee of 100E. It also allows you about 14 days of catch-up tv. We also have this and, bar a slight freeze for a few seconds maybe once a week, its great. It runs off of the internet connection.

Good luck. Martin.

PS. Let Crancrank know your full name & partial address & he/she will get a months worth of service for free for a recommendation. :)   He/she will need to tell them.

We have used NEXT and all good, switch on monthly for approx €30/month and when not in use i think around €4 monthly. NEXT installed IPTV or catch up TV which works OK too...includes lots of UK live channels.

We also purchased on Amazon 'VPN Liberty Shield Router' £19.99 includes one month access and thereafter for £6.99/month, or cheaper if subscribe for 12 months at £69.99. Connect existing router to Liberty Shield Router by ethernet and thereafter by ethernet or WiFi and to watch content from for example NOW TV (USB smart stick) or Amazon Fire stick ....also tried successfully connecting XBOX, download SKYGO app and stream SKY content too! plus games console.

Amazinly helpful too at Liberty Sheild.
Best regards, Chris
