Advice wanted please on our water bill
We are with codeur
Billed €389 for approx for two month , we don’t live at the property yet .
Our first bill was for €58
We were only out for 1 week in October for the high bill
Any advice folk
We do have a pool
understanding the bill is a struggle

Hi It sound s very much like you ether have a leak or your pool is on auto fill.
Do you have someone who takes care of your house? If so get them to check if the meter is running when the taps etc are all off.
It might be worth scanning the bill and sending it to your solicitor and ask him/her to explain it. There may be connections fees or charges.

We had a similar experience, had only been staying in our place for a week and we don’t have a pool!
Our bill was for about €350, they’re not keen to negotiate as they said it’s metered water so you have to pay.
We never confirmed where our water went but I switched off garden watering system.
Checking our meter daily now whenever we’re here to make sure we don’t get another bill like that!
