Just a thought but there are 2 Charity shops at Bourganvillia Roundabout. The ladies there might have some ideas also there is s group called Dames in Spain, Mojacar ( on Facebook )or similar. Check on Google Search.

If you get a free copy of The Almeria Focus Magazine and Directory, also on line, from P 106 or thereabouts are Groups & Activities.

Hi. There is a wonderful pool in Vera town. 25 metres, with a smaller pool where aquaerobics classes happen on a daily basis. The staff are friendly and helpful. 

EVEN BETTER, if you have transport and can get yourself to Turre, about 20 mins away, there is a support group called ENABLE that meets at the room alongside Turre football ground. Enable is for people with mobility and other difficulties. It´s the brainchild of, and is run by, a fully qualified sports therapist and personal trainer, Ray Daniel. Ray has a fantastic reputation throughout the area. At the meetings we do gentle exercises, both physical and mental. It´s a chance to meet up with others who are in a similar position. ENABLE is 100% free to attend. Meetings are every Wednesday from 11.30 - 12.30. Why not come along and give it a try. Sue Lewis  

Hi . Thank you very much. I will endeavour to get there when i can. You see my hubby works in los Gallardos so uses our car ,,if i can brush up on my driving as ive been intending to do ill come along one of the weeks.

Hi I am in Vera ra playa can I ask you where is the indoor pool that opens end of Jan? I have looked at the Vera one looks very good but very hot inside I thought would love to find a pool in the playa area I could walk to, Vera too far to walk.
