Shortages where I am.
No tomatoes in Tesco and also gaps on the shelves where other vegetables should be
Similar situation in Aldi when I visited the store on Saturday afternoon.

We live in Spain there is no shortage here, the UK government won’t admit it but it’s mostly down to Brexit they will make all sorts of excuses except the mane reason, turnips raw or cooked in a salad no thanks.

It’s nothing to do with the weather, Lol, I don’t know if you live here all year round we do, and the weather is not much different to last year, I take it you are a brexit supporter and won’t accept the fact that it as been damaging to the UK Lol

From what I have read, the shortage in the UK is a result of a number of factors that have come together to make an ideal storm.
If the cold weather in Spain was the only reason for the shortage, then you would expect other countries to be suffering shortages on the same scale as the UK. From what I have read they are not.

I don’t assume anything about anybody, the problem is people that voted Brexit not saying you did or not will never accept that anything that happens is never anything to do with Brexit,. Lol

Fluctuating temperatures, increased production costs and the knock-on effects of Brexit are all contributing to the vegetable shortages that have led some UK supermarkets to introduce rationing, according to Spanish growers.
While some large producer and export associations have put the shortages down to the cold weather in southern Spain, others have pointed the finger at the post-Brexit red tape and logistics problems that have helped to make the UK a less desirable market.

God I love the smell of Brexit Early in the morning!
They could always give up tomatoes and fruit for Lent and eat Turnips as a sacrifice
