We are due to move to Turre at the end of March. Does anyone know the cheapest way to get a dog over. We had a quote for door to door service which would cost us £3,000 which we can’t afford. Ideally we need someone that would drive the dog and my husband over with him. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi

I just moved to Villaricos and used UNION JACK to ship stuff and my two cats. - The service was faultless, friendly and they couldn't have been more helpful - absolutely fabulous service all round.

Hi, I hope you don’t mind me asking but how much did Union Jack charge you for your removals and cat transport?

Did you move a lot of stuff (size of property)?

Did the cats go by separate vehicle?

Thanks Michelle

WE had a transit van filled to capacity and the cats went in that. The cost depended upon lots of things but Jack (at Union Jack) gave me a deal for the lot. They also transport pets along with other peoples shipping so best thing is to call them - you can find the number on-line and tell them Gail Vaughan recommended them to you. (Every little helps)

I can assure you the cost will be FAR less than you were quoted

Good luck Michelle

Please make sure that who ever you use is Licensed either in Spain or the UK, to carry live animals, a GSD was recently lost whilst being transported thru France, whilst being transported to his forever home in the UK, he has never been found.
