Hi. We are the same as you. If you are in the system but awaiting an appointment don’t worry. You will be ok and get an appointment eventually. It’s not ours or your fault they have a backlog xx

I read somewhere recently that the authorities were asking people who have permanent residency already (A4 green form or a card) not to rush for a TIE. Card as they were not necessary and these residents were the ones helping to clog the system and create the back log.   I think it was in the Alicante region they were referring to but would imagine it applies to here as well.  Also I'm sure the embassy has written an article in EWN about it some weeks ago.

We too are in a similar position.  We have everything but the correct S1.  Mine has arrived but it does not show my husband as my dependant.  I have have so far had several conversations with Newcastle, to no avail I am now emailing them every day.  Think we might have to get hubby private insurance just to get registered before the Spanish Christmas break starts.

Any views or advice would be appreciated. Mrs very stressed xx
