Welcome to the Post brexit banking rules. If you have a UK bank account paying into a Spanish bank account in your name have a look at transferwise. We have cancelled our currencies direct account as we were charged 15 euros in fees for our small regular money transfer.

Thank you for the feed backs . I will look into transferwise .
I received a refund from Next Directory into my Caixa Bank Account for customs delivery charges I had to pay the DHL driver in January, and got charged 15 euros by Caixa for receiving money from a UK account.
Brexit! 🙁

Get a Revolut account and any transfers to your Spanish Account can be made in Euro by exchanging sterling within the Revolut app at the best rate

Thank you for your reply Jimh I did notice that some were charged when using revolut which was more than bank charges . We have always used currencies direct and never had to pay charges to them .I see one bank charged E 18.00 we were charged E 19.60 .
