School

Hi

I am thinking of moving to the area , we have got an 11 year old son and we would need a school for him , we do not speak a lot of Spanish at the moment, any advice please

There is at least 1 secondary school in Velez Rubio but I have no personal experience. I would suggest contacting either the Ayuntamiento or the school for details of how to enrol etc. I don't think that Spain has league tables in the way the UK does or whether there is much choice of schools outside the larger urban areas, but if you google around you can find subjective lists of the 100 best schools/colleges. They are almost exclusively in the major cities.
