It is caused by sand blowing from the Sahara. In the Canary Islands,  it is very common and called a Calima . You will probably find a thin layer of sand on your car tomorrow 😨😨

First wait for the rain to stop because, a) more dust can come down, and b) the rain can help clean some of it off for you.

Wait for a while.... as Puff said the rain will help wash it off.....also if there is still sand in the air it will stick to the wet if you wash it away now! The good news is that for once we will love to see the rain that is due for the next few days! When it starts to pour down and the air is not orange then put a raincoat on and sweep it away!

Can't you just puff it off if you are a dragon?

weather forecast says rain until the 29th!  welcome to sunny Spain!  at least the sand will be long gone if it rains for that long and no water shortages then.  Even Puff will be extinguished!!
