You will need an appointment with Oficina de Extranjeria in Almería, which can be applied for online. As of today, they are NOT accepting appointments for Residencia.
I would strongly suggest contacting a gestor or someone similarly skilled in guiding you through the bureaucratic nightmare that can ensue.

Avril, do you already have residencia (from the office in Almeria City) or do you mean you only have the local padron?
As Dario suggests, you will need services of a gestor (paralegal and cheaper than a solicitor) to organise this.
Now that the U.K. is Brexiting on 31 January you will need to get residency before the Transition period ends in Dec 2020. After that we will all have to reapply for a TIE because the U.K. will be a ‘third’ country - not Spanish and not a EU country - but it will be essential to have registered for residency before we finally leave the EU.

I only have the local padron. You’ve been very helpful. Any idea when appointments will become available ?

Avril, I don’t know when appointments will next become available but you should get an idea once you apply online.
Better still, if you locate a gestor in your local area they will do all the legwork for you and apply online for you, organise any official translations of documents that may be necessary, and take you with them to the Oficina de Extranjeros in Almeria City. They will be known to the staff there which will ensure it all progresses smoothly.
Good luck
Chris
