I'm looking for a long term let ... three months off season, on the Almeria coast, close to all amenities.  One lady pensioner, desperate for some sunshine, on a limited budget.  Am I chasing the impossible dream?

Many thanks.

Annie

Hi Annie,

We have a two bedroom apartment in Palomares which would be available for rent off season, please let me know if you are interested?

Kind Regards

Thank you Mandy. I had almost given up on the idea but am keen to see the pics, and discuss with my family.  It all sounds lovely.

Kind regardsgards

Annie

There are loads of long term rentals , must admit we tried to google back in uk to find it very difficult as the search engines will constantly take you to holiday rentals . There are hundreds that start at €290 a month and then you pay your own bills which should be around €90 a month , cost of living is so cheap, rates would be around €250 a year , I would suggest palomares , vera Playa , garrucha , las marinas , if you need some local contacts let me know as I've been collecting a list on my desktop for a while now . Good luck .

Please don't give up u will not regret it

Thank you so much for all your helpful suggestions.  I was a bit hesitant about being by myself for a couple of months but the friendliness of the people who responded has reassured me. Thanks again.  I will be in touch if I need further info.

Best regards

Hi Annie

We have a easily maintained first floor apartment (with lift) in Turre overlooking the Turre (Big chess piece) at the entrance to the village, so not overlooked.  It is 2 bed 1 bath with shower over. Washing machine in bathroom and newly refurbished kitchen with new built in oven/hob; fridge...

... and freezer. Granite worktops; microwave etc.  The apartment is available for rent - if you are interested please private message me for more details and my email/telephone contact number.  I can also provide photos via email.  The whole apartment has recently been refurbished/decorated and is ready to move into.  There is a balcony (for people watching and relaxing) which fits a small table and chairs.  Very handy for the shops too and friendly local bars and restaurants.  There is also access to a rooftop solarium to catch those rays etc and a small inner private courtyard with drying area.  There is ample storage as both bedrooms have built in robes.  Secure private access too.

kind regards

Moira and Keith Armitage

Hi there,

we are looking for a long term rental in or around Turre from 01 Dec 2018 for 6 months, property sold in the UK, we will leave directly after completion. I am finding it a bit difficult to contact agents to try and tee up viewings for early next month. I noticed you said you had collected contacts on your desktop. Would it be super cheeky to ask you if you would share??

Many thanks in advance,

Jennifer

Hi.  Unfortunately the apartment is now booked until next August and maybe beyond that.  Turre is a lovely place and the people locals and expats are friendly too.  Lots to do and only 10 mins from the coast.  Hope you are lucky in finding somewhere for you time here.

Hi kdskitchen

Thank you for your very helpful comments. Would be most grateful if you could inbox me a couple of contacts for long term let's.

With all the Brexit stuff going on it may complicate things.  Thanks again.

Must admit the ones I’ve collected for long term don’t cover turre. Ones we used or at least kept going back to was Spanish property choice. But be warned , even they made a mess of things and cost us a lot of money. But there’s others like angel properties in palomares but also have to say when u do contact them they magically disappear from their listings , most of them do that’s why u struggle to find one that’s right, and if u have a pet it makes it 20 times harder as did we. Problem is the real good rentals are under the radar in other word rental by people that are here illegally and they want cash every month as nothing is declared but they are best properties tbh

Thanks for the tips. I have registered with SPC, but have reached out via FB pages and groups to make direct contact with private landlords.
