I am needing  help in my daily life. I have met a Filipino man, on line, we have been friends for 9 months now. He has  certificate in Housekeeping and Barista. I would like to contact a lawyer with immigration  law experience.

Hi

Hopefully someone can give you a recommendation for a lawyer but please be careful as online friendships can be not quite as they seem and some can be fraudulent in their motives as genuine as they may seem online.

I know you are not asking for opinions or advice but personally I would get help nearer to home. There could be carer organisations in or near your area or someone may recommend  a carer on here. Bringing someone from another country to work here for you is risky as, until you get to know them personally, you will never know what they are really like and whether you will get on with them.

Hopefully others on here can give advice or help you to find a good carer in Spain.

Jan.

Dear Jan,  Thank you for your words of wisdom, adivise.

I intend to travel to the Philippines this Nov. to meet with my friend of 9 months.

We will be going to the Spanish Consulate in Manilla to apply for a visa for him to enter Spain.

I really just wanted to know what documents I would need to take with me , to try and present to them what is needed.

I really appreciate your reply to my 'post'

All good wishes,

Andrew

Hi whitewhale74,

I've read your post and if it is of help to you, I know of a lady,  local to Turre who has considerable  experience as a caregiver. Her background is in nursing and, when she divided her time between Spain and the UK,  she was  a long time volunteer at a children's cancer hospice. She is very knowledgeable, empathetic and has that added benefit of a professional background in nursing. If you would like further details please pm me. I hope that helps. Please remember, your personal safety and security MUST come first.

With every good wish
