Patio furniture is cheapest if you buy from the hypermarket chains which are found relatively easily in most cities like Almeria, Murcia  and Cartagena.  The best ones are Carrefour and Alcampo .  In Lorca and Roquetas there are Eroski hypermarkets  but the other ones, which are numerous all over Spain, are usually cheaper and offer lots of choice.

Hi Belinda.  We live in Turre on the outskirts on Agua Nueva.  We are also from Yorkshire originally (Leeds) and would like to meet up when you arrive in September.  Please PM me on this forum for details of our telephone number and we would be happy to  meet you.

Try the consignment shop newly opened on the Antas site by the motovia on the way back from Vera.

Asia shops have sunbeds, as do lots of others, all different designs and prices.

Seems an ever decreasing world when talk gets round to nationalities etc, I did 5 years in the USA in Alabama, Chicago and probably most favourite Boston, mention of a helpful "Molly" from the USA brings back fond and not so fond memories lol, went to dinner with friends last weekend and the "Dames" lady I was seated next to her mom hailed from my birth place in Lancashire lol, but thats all off topic.

Recently had 4 day visit to Turre to view apartments met a lovely lady called Molly who was really helpful just moved here a year ago from the USA. We complete on the apartment next month and look forward to the many short and long visits to Turre. Thanks also to Alice who gave us some great info...

.... I am looking fwd to meeting many locals over the forthcoming months and years.

hi Patrick and Alan - I am a relative newcomer to Turre even though I have lived in Mojacar Playa 29 years. I  am single - live alone but it would be great to make friends here. I am NOT A BAR FLY !!!   - just prefer to visit bars  with other people.Good luck with the completion on your apt.   Andrew
