Recently had 4 day visit to Turre to view apartments met a lovely lady called Molly who was really helpful just moved here a year ago from the USA. We complete on the apartment next month and look forward to the many short and long visits to Turre. Thanks also to Alice who gave us some great info. I am looking fwd to meeting many locals over the forthcoming months and years.

Hi. Me and my husband have just completed sale of an apartment in Vera Playa and plan to collect keys 16th January. We are originally from near Manchester and in our early 50''s. We can speak a little Spanish although a bit rusty. Is there anywhere around that offers free spanish lessons?

Many thanks Karen & David

Probably the most expensive place locally is Ferateria Lopez in Mojacar but you may be bedevilled by delivery if you don't have a suitable vehicle. There are 2 great 2nd hand shops in Mojacar, de Limas & another 10m from it. They have delivery. So many people leaving there are people selling on here & Arboleas Forum.

If you employ tradesmen locally on the coast they are usually more expensive as are products. Lots of chancers around still. Pls ask here if you need advice and always get quotes.

Best of luck,

Dr. Bob and Sandra

Bob is right about Fereteria Lopez being the most expensive and they have a delivery charge also. De Limas is a good place and also Items for sale in Mojacar is  great (Its the one that is 10km from De Limas, which Bob mentioned) They always have some fabulous second hand furniture, household ítems etc.
