Health care in Turre

most local health centres will help you as long as you take your passport and EHIC card which you should have with you hopefully.  the only problem is usually language as a lot of them do not speak English and prefer you to have a translator with you to assist in the understanding of any medical problem.  If you are after a prescription for medicines that are running out you can always cjeck with the local pharmacist to see if you can buy them first.  

Is there anyone out there who is having trouble getting a repeat prescription from the Medical Centre in Turre? I have made no end of calls to various numbers that I have been given to be told that a doctor will ring me to collect my request. This has been going on for almost a week now and no-one has called. My husband and I are both pensioners, taking a large amount of medication. I simply can't afford to buy them from the Farmacia. I am truly desperate and concerned as I have missed a particular tablet now for almost a week. Please, if anyone has any information that can help this situation, I will be truly grateful. Thank You.
