RESTRICTIONS IN ANDALUCIA BECAUSE OF COVID-19 | Ventes from Sunday January 17th Perimeter closure of all Andalusian provinces. You won't be able to leave the province of residence itself. Perimeter closure of all municipalities whose incidence rate is higher than 500 cases per 100.000 people (see chart). Catering closure and non-essential shops in municipalities with incidence rate of more than 1.000 cases per 100.000 people (see chart). The Government is also asked to allow home confinement in these municipalities. Closure of all hospitality and non-essential shops at 18.00 h Meetings of a maximum of four people, including at tables in hospitality. The curfew remains 22:00 but the Government has been asked to advance it at 20:00 p.m. These measures enter into force on Saturday morning to Sunday, i.e. at 00:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17
I copied and pasted the above from facebook. The message is pretty much stay at home unless there is an essential reason for travelling. My gut feeling is that you are indeed confined to Turré and if somebody from Mojacar or Garrucha or Vera  is looking in it appears you are also confined to your area. The Covid figures are going in the wrong direction. It appears people continue to wear chin masks, fail to wash hands properly and for some reason have difficulties in working out what is 2 metres self distancing. Doesn't look good.

official time is 0.00pm Sunday 17th so that is just after midnight sat.  sorry I said Monday because shops shut on Sundays anyway.

Hi Sue,

We are in Lubrín which currently has no cases of Covid. Like Turre our municipality isn't closed. Neither are Bedar and Zurgena.

I have been told we can move between these municipalities if we want to, and they are all near each other. Worth knowing if you want a change of scenery.

I would imagine that Turre will be inundated because of the restrictions in all surrounding municipal areas where all bars and restaurants have to be closed as well as other non-essential services! Some people don't seem to be able to exist without bars and restaurants.

If I am right, do be be very careful because chances are that In 10-14 days you'll get a few more cases of Covid infections in Turre as it will be one of the few villages where services are open up until 6pm.

...

But they aren't allowed to travel from those areas where bars etc are closed, so they shouldn't be in Turre.

Municipalities that can travel to Turre have their own bars and restaurants open. And vice versa. And they are open because those municipalities have low case numbers.

Sometimes you just want a change of scenery, not necessarily to sit in a bar, and as long as you follow the guidelines you can get out for a walk to lift your spirits.
