Electricity bill

Hi just a heads up on paying these bills,Went to bank in Turre cajamar after queing lol told they cannot be payed at this bank.Try banks in majacar went there told only certain banks and then on certain days and hours. grrrr Go to post office they do payment of electricity bills, Great go there in Majacar stood in queue for 30 mins get to desk fine went to pay with card whoops guess what? they dont take card payments cash only, ( even though they have a card machine on the desk} Back out to find a cash machine then back to PO another 30 mins + finally paid whoopee.

Hi

Can be so frustrating.

What about setting up a DD? We had ours with Endesa as a DD from Bank and now Nordic with a DD from Lloyds euro card.

That's so thoughtful of you. Our friends in La Conception have no DDs and the time they must waste going backwards & forwards. Some banks apparently get quite assertive/ rude.

We went to pay our road tax and went into our bank in Mojacar it is Bankia i asked inside and was told we had to use the cashpoint he came outside with us and we both put the wrong code in so back inside and he brought our pin number up then back outside and he did it all for us i was realy impressed with the service and would recomend them to everybody.

Hi,

No fan of La Caixa & cancelled CC/DC due to cost when moved most banking off shore. However have to retain Spanish Acct as not possible to do certain DDs. So would take Cash to Teller & get him/ her to accept. Then about 2 months ago the female Teller, who was on her own, took me to the ATM & showed me how to do so manually using my Acct. Details. Excellent!!!!! Now I can go in outside banking hours to pay in. I'm a bit slow with these machines so now am not inconveniencing anyone.

We get monthly Endesa bills in the post and pay them directly online via the laptop with our Sabadell account. Just a suggestion.

Even more difficult if you live in the UK 😡
