hi , I have been neglectful of Turre Forun for some time.

I have lived in Turre for 3 years  now , in the same apt.

My concern is the  way the  municipal gardens are being neglected. My balcony overlooks the  road junction from Mojacar to Turre and Los Gallardos. Has the Turre council run out of money?  I have not seen any gardeners  attending the traffic islands gardens  for more than a month , nor have I seen the automatic watering system in operation. What I have seen are the green spotlights under the olive trees  illuminated ALL DAY!! The seating area on Clle Azahar - the pergola  is being over grown with the vines which are impeding the walk way. The newly planted euonymus plants are dying from lack of watering . Where are the  women  council workers with their bonnets and 'fanny packs'?

another grouse I have . The basuras were repositioned  - too near . the kerb and pavement - not enough room to get to the bar  at the bottom to open the lid. I don't like to do this but I have to leave my bags of trash  beside the basura  . I have walking disability.

Thank you for this opportunity to air my discontent . I love living in Turre  - it saddens me to see it being neglected . Thank you Jan  , best wishes  Andrew

Hi, not sure if you can make it to your Ayuntamiento, if you can ask them to come and clean up the area. Another option is you get some of your neighbours together to do a clean up.

On a separate note. While at the Ayuntamiento ask about registering as disabled ( if you haven't already), if successful you may possibly be able to receive home help.
