Hi Almeria Forum,

I am an EU Citizen (Irish National) currently residing in the UK, but now wishing to retire permanently to Almeria, where I already own a property, but am not yet a Spanish resident.

My question is: Am I now permitted to enter Spain from the UK under the new Spanish Border regulations which apply after 30 March 2021?

Does anyone have any clarity on this?

If you have, I would love to hear from you.

i believe at the moment Spain is still not allowing entry unless you are a resident with green paper or TIE or a Spanish national so you would not be allowed entry unless you are coming for work or an emergency reason.  They may review this of course.
