I nearly choked on my breakfast when I read the above post. I would hope that all bar/restaurant staff are vaccinated against Covid, but then again what percentage of nurses/doctors/attendants in our hospitals have refused the vaccines?

If staff can’t prove they are vaxed, take your custom elsewhere. Hit them in the pocket.

Legally the government or autonomous region can’t insist that employees take the Covid vaccinations, however any employer can insist his staff need to be fully vaccinated. the places I frequent, the staff/owners have provided their certificates just like we did to enter.

Depends on where you drink/eat.  We frequent the same place normally.  I have shown my European certificate which was shown on the bar staff's phone and was accepted,  but my certificate from Salud de Andalusia which i got when i first completed my vaccinations was rejected!  His phone would not translate the encryption!!! What is the point if you only have the one from Andalusia health?  So far we have not eaten elsewhere but we may do so in the next few weeks.  They will just have to accept my written bits of paper of proof. Sorry if I've deviated from the original question but as i know these particular bar staff i would assume they are all vaccinated.  Not asked but will do so next time I'm there.  Not that for us it will make a difference as it's our 'local'.

The brief

My understanding is that no bar or restaurant staff, are required to have COVID passports

I also understand that they are allowing artists to perform without the same document.

It has caused quite a stir, considering the efforts that the public have made to comply.

Pretty awful situation.

Some agreement was clearly made.
