Can anyone please let me know where the woman who has two large mastins lives in Turre?  Her brown dog attacked my small spaniel this morning and if I hadn't screamed and driven it off my dog, I don't think he would have let him alone.  I am aware that this woman's dogs have already attacked my neighbour's dog and chased after motorcycles - she doesn't keep them on a lead and they don't have muzzles either.  I told this woman that I was going to the police about it and she was extremely offensive back to me and told me to 'go ahead and go back to my own country'!!!  Any assistance would be most appreciated as I fear that the next dog might not survive such an attack.

Hi, it was in the campo, just along from the tanatorio - this woman frequently walks her dogs, off lead, along this path so be careful for your dogs.  I am sorry to hear that your dog was attacked and it makes me so upset and angry that one 'bad apple' in the pile, like this woman, can cause so much upset for us peace loving dog owners.  After all, if she just kept her dogs on lead this would never have happened - it is never the dogs that are at fault just their ignorant owners.

Thank you for the alert

Take a photo on your mobil if you can next time they are seen.

Dogs must be on a lead ( big fine) and that type of dog has to be muzzled ( big fine)

The woman was full of bravado and no doubt she knows she is breaking the law.

People should put the app " Cop Alert" on their phones. Instant communication with the Guardia Civil who the moment you press the button on your app know who you are know you ate English in distress, know exactly where you are you can then speak to an Officer or message them with the problem and the photo or videoyou are recording.

This app is run by the Guardia Civil for the English for any type of crime assault breakdown robbery hastle threats noise etc.

Good luck. If I see these dogs she will get reportedwith video back up.

Hi... Thanks

I'm really interested in getting this app.

I do speak reasonably good Spanish but I can imagine that when in an alarming situation I could struggle.

I've searched on Google play but couldn't find it... Do you happen to have a link? Or know what/where to search?

Thanks in advance 😊

Good morning Jane, the app on googleplay is called "AlertCops" and was designed by the Guardia Civil for the English expats. Whenever you contact them on the app, say someone is giving you grief, you press the appropriate icon for assistance.

The Guardia know where you are located within a metre or two and know the type of problem you have. So no problems trying to find the name of the road etc.

From the app you can speak or text or request a call back etc, best regards Al
