Services. Etc. You can post for a recommendation if you joonbwhich takes 24hrs. You will have replies within hours. All I would caution.us get estimates, only  use legal electricians and estimates in writing with IVA.

Hi, bob, thx again, jobs are just relatively simple extra sockets in an alcove for a couple of friends whove recently bought a villa in Taberno.

I'll chase up the other forums etc, problem they have is theyre only here from feb 21 thru to Monday 26th, and I'm key holding so of necessity whoever may respond will have to work thru me or get on site inside the narrow window they set me to find someone lol.

Hi Bob - Ren here ... Jim is kindly trying to find us a sparky to install some sockets, your guy sounds good and I don't mind using google translate - had a fun night using it to communicate with the guys who came to install the alarm system.  Mind you, just realised, we are only there from 21st to 26th - wonder if Jim can just point to where they need to be lol then maybe Jim can go over when it's convenient for him.  There's no mad rush, just though it would be nice to have the printer set up before the summer.

Not sure if Jim mentioned but after 15yrs we only employ Spanish. Too many Brit crooks who trade on the language &'charge UK rates.

Hi Bob - THANK YOU so much for that info, I'm going to email him using google translate (had to do that all the time with our Spanish solicitor - don't ask) ... I can get the gist of whether it's right with my limited knowledge .... or I may look like a complete idiot.

Interesting what you say about only using Spanish ... we have only ever paid UK prices so have nothing to compare to, but good point!

What has shocked us the most is how much we are paying 'Irbedrola' (who interestingly enough, own Scottish Power who we are with here) for the electricity when we don't even use any!!  We also have solar panels on the roof.  We are paying €46 per month - none of that is for usage.  I've been told that they are one of the most expensive supplies and there are smaller, cheaper companies out there.  We weren't given a choice by the solicitor.
