We have found a property just outside Taberno that we really love and want to buy it and move into the area. However we have noticed a lot of promotion relating to the use of 4x4 vehicles and the route passes right past the house on the main rambla near Taberno. We are looking for peace and quiet and the possible noise disturbance is a real worry for us. Does anyone have any experience of this and how prevalent are vehicles using the rambla?  If there is noise on a daily basis then that would be a deal breaker for us but it’s difficult to know what level of nuisance this might be. Are we worrying unnecessarily?

Personally I would leave well alone.

Sit outside for longperiods, especially at weekends and see if there is an inconvenience. We live on a rambla in Fuente Amarga, and occasionally with have 4x4,s and motorbikes on the odd weekend. Believe me barking dogs can be a bigger problem.

Hi

The 4x4 club are out on the last Sunday of the month - there’s probably about 15 to 20 - all they do are passing by - not stopping - it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful in the area - don’t let the thought of that put you off - Steve
