Hi Folks,
We don't have mains water so we can't use that to fill our above ground pool. Seen this is the common response to this question.
We live on the campo and have a large above ground pool that we need to fill (15,000L). So we need a tanker delivery. We live in the Tabernas area, so any recommendations appreciate. I need this to save me from the heat, recent plant so still adjusting!

Hi Rob,
Speak to Pedro at Commercial Sorbas, the yard about a km before you get to Sorbas. He does not speak English. If you don't speak Spanish, speak to his wife Pacqui at the office in Sorbas (close to Día), she speaks 5 languages, and will sell you a kitchen as well. It's council drinking water, primo quality.
We paid 80€ for 6000l tankers, beware they have short hoses (less than 10m), I'm sure the price has gone up since last spring...

Drinking water is not necessary for a pool and may cost more. Water delivery has gone up because of the diesel as they often need to make more than one journey , especially.when you need a smaller lorry due to access problems. They need to get as near to the pool as possible and the hose often isn´t long enough if they cannot do this. You could phone Diego Munoz who has a ferreteria (recently closed), in the Sorbas Poligono and he speaks excellent English. He also sells fibre glass pools and can get yours filled for you. His number is the following: 639486948. He can also also help out with lots of things you might need done in the way of building, plumbing and repairs of any type.
