Public footpath closed. WARNING.

Most Sundays I walk from the main Square via the bottom Square to the main road and up the public footpath up the cliff back into town.

I am now a very tired and extremely angry because when I got to the top I had to go back and completely retrace my steps because of the building work at the top which has closed the footpath. I checked again at the bottom and there is no warning.

I shall make a formal complaint at the Town Hall tomorrow but meanwhile don't try and do what I did!!

After two visits to the town hall there is now a fence at the bottom of the steps. You still cannot get all the way up but you can walk on the flat bit at the bottom.

The footpath is still closed but no longer because of the building work but because one of the buildings up above is starting to fall down so anyone walking would be in danger of being hit by falling stones. How long it will stay like this no one seems to know
