Cost for minor works licence

Hi folks,

We are planning on applying for a minor works licence to do some bits and pieces at our place in Cariatiz. However I recently heard that a new fee of €2000 for any alteration applies in addition to the works licence. 

Anyone heard about this and if so, when will it come into force (if not an already happening)?

I’ve also heard that they are forcing people to install a septic tank (if you’re not on mains sewage OR using a soak-away) before any licence is granted!!
