The weather since beginning.of year has been really strange as has the weather for the whole of Europe. You can actually access past meteorological data via google search.
Apparently now we are in for another cold spell.
Stay warm & dry. Raining & windy here.

Hi, down on the sea front promenade you can expect a "fresh" sea breeze all the time, we're inland at a small village called Urcal and it's been windy/breezy for a week or three, we've been here since last March 2017 and it's not been this cold nor windy from recollection but being here and comparing it to back in the UK and with the prospect of the normal warmer weather just around the corner I'll put up with things as they are lol.

We recently moved to SJLT and found the weather quite pleasant. We live in the Noravel area about 20 mins walk from the beach and are quite sheltered. We did meet a Spanish couple who live by the sea and said it had been very windy, to be fair the weather conditions has been exceptional all over recently. The estate agent told us that February & March are the worst months but I’ve had experience of it being much colder and windier inland. Stick with SJLT, I’m sure it will be a good choice.
