Does anyone know locally of a company that delivers treated water for a Swimming pool. We have just had the pool acid washed and re-grouted.

Hi,

We know of Gines Grava in Puerto Lumbreras & the young lady in the morning speaks English. However it is now permissible to fill from your domestic supply through hosepipe. Certainly this is so with Galasa so check with your supplier. If you spread over payment periods this is less of a hit but people have been mentioning as little as 100€.

Also if you access Swimming pool providers & accessories they may give you more local water tankers. Just a thought.

Hope that helps,

Bob and Sandra

We're in the same boat, no pun intended but the builder who organised the acid wash and regrout knows a company.

I think there's a company in one or both of the free magazines, Cabrera water comes to mind, a friend just had their pool re-filled using 2 and a half tankers to fill an 8m x 4m deep ended pool at a cost of around €300.

I think Galasa might frown on you filling an average 8m x 4m pool with up to 46000 litres of water via hosepipe plus it'll take a while which may be one of the reasons that pool applications are being declined or at least thats what the jungle drums say.

I can maybe get you some numbers at the Thursday darts nite at Bar Amazir here in Urcal if you like.

Hi again,

That's why I suggested you confirm with your water supplier. You can contact all of them by e mail. Have Galasa if you are with them.

When our Communal pool was filled it was by hosepipe not water tanker.

Hi

Thank you, for all the suggestions which we will take on board. We do have automatic fill so shouldn’t take as long as a hose pipe.

My reason for using a company is the water is pre treated, Think we need 32,000 litres so if you could get some numbers for me too, I could give them a call. Thank you for Puerto Lomberas recommendation too.

At the moment, thanks to the rain, we now have a puddle of dirty water on our nice new grout 🙈😢

Lol, we've had similar rain induced puddles, had to bucket and pan it out, now noticing a tiny leak :((, just damp patch on the tile not visible but a worry nonetheless, builder coming to attend then fill it and forget it.

Hi

Did you manage to get any other numbers for water at Urcal on Thursday night?

I’ve rung Cabrera Water.

Thanks

Hi Bob

Do you have a number for the English speaking girl at Gines Grava.

I called yesterday and spoke to a nice Spanish man but i just want to make sure I’ve understood what he said.

I also tried Galesa online but we don’t have a Spanish mobile yet so I couldn’t register. I telephoned but the lady didn’t understand my Spanish ‘Puedo llenar mi Piscina con agua de Gelasa’ as I’m quite basic at mo...

Thanks Pamela
