Hi Kevin,

Welcome to Terreros.

We are newbies too. As you can speak Spanish things will be easier for you.

For Internet we used WiMAX, based in Lorca. We are happy with it so far.

We bought a new-build so sorry can't help you with builders, except to say whoever you employ make sure they are registered.

On the way into Aguilas, just after the turn off for Mercadona, there is a sign on the wall/gateway of a house advertising an architect.

Other general advice is just to relax and enjoy the Spanish way of life.

Btw. I'm interested in learning Spanish, I have basic Spanish, if you are interested in teaching me.

I would be interested in learning Spanish too, although not out there so often, so let me know what you might be able to offer say in a small group, etc.     Look forward to hearing from you.    Jane
