Resort in general

Hi, we bought an apartment 4 years ago on the golf course. We really love the area . It is not like Torrevieja or other busy  places.  Not too busy yet but developers are building like crazy. There are nice restaurants …and nice Irish pub, nice beaches like playa de cocedores or carolina. We never use the beach in Terreros. Hope this has been a little helpful. Enjoy your time in Terreros. You can rent in SJdlT for a song, so why buy? . . . . says he who bought in Mojacar Playa many years ago.

If you have the spare cash and will only be using the place for family visits (and more in your eventual retirement) and don't need to rent it out then go ahead and buy. Otherwise, keep your money in your pocket.

A week or two summer visit will be as helpful as a fork to eat soup. Do your Spanish property research now and visit for as long as you can in the off seasons. See other threads on this forum on buying Spanish property.

It's great and with lots going on the summer and most facilities open all year round.  Aguilas 10 minutes away is a fab town and worth getting to know.  The beaches are the best in the area.  Dig deeper and you will find quiz and sports groups and lots of other things to do.  Have a great time.

Would look at using 4 weeks of the year and letting friends and family use it, so probably not rent it out.

Will do a lot of research of the areas when we are there in July.

It's a wonderful place....just the right amount of activity whilst retaining its proper spanishness.   The beach is good, with a long promenade, with around 3 or 4 different chirunguito, and in the summer the town is busier although with a great mix of usually, northern Europeans Spanish and British.  Different restaurants catering from tapas, to proper restaurants and all in a very laid back atmosphere.   We love it.
