Hi,

I was parked next to the big square with the fountain on Friday for an hour, when I returned to my car I had this small piece of paper tucked under my windscreen wiper.

There are no instructions at all on the ticket as to what I should do with it.

Has anyone received one of these before or can anyone advise me what I should do with it?

Many Thanks

Keith

The fine can be paid at the machine.

Hi Alicia,

The ticket shows that I was in the green zone apparently reserved for residents.

Thanks

Keith

There are signs to show the the green zone is for residents and the blue area is pay & display during the summer. The blue area is free for the rest of the year.

So do you think the ticket is just a warning, advising me not to park in the Green zone in the future?

Or do I need to go to the town hall to ask about it?

Thanks

Keith

Yes it’s a warning, pay the fine which will be pittance. As a UK reg car you may think why should I pay but at the end of the day you were in the wrong.

Have you gone to the machine to try to pay?

Hi Jack

I returned to the machine yesterday, followed the instructions and paid the fine, which was only 3 Euros.

I then posted my payment receipt with the original parking ticket back into the machine, so hopefully it is now all sorted.

Thanks for your advice & I will avoid parking there in the future.
