The Festival/ fiesta is 'celebrated ' all along the coast. We have a nousy one at Mojacar with bonfires on beach people jumping over them (hopefully) and in and out the sea. Lots of carousing and consumption of noxious spirits.
Typically Spanish. Enjoy.

Is there any kind of site that details when and where festivals/fiestas are taking place this year ?.
We have always sent an e mail to the appropriate Tourist Information Centre although you may want to look for Fiestas in (state the town) for 2017. That gives results usually.
We spent most of 2005 doing most of the Main Fiestas throughout Spain and I know there is a calendar for that. We did all but 3 as we live elsewhere as well. Tail end of last year we finally did the Human Pyramid Building Competition at Tarragona and if you ever get a chance then you must visit. Absolutely awesome. Enormous arena, all seating, myriads of teams and competitors and the atmosphere was electric. Way better than La Tomatina and the 30 seconds of Running of the Bulls.
Best Wishes,
