Residency
If I become a resident of Spain, do I loose any rights in the UK.
Any views on this would be greatly appreciated.

What rights are you worried about losing? It might help to answer your question.

The only thing you lose is free access to NHS services; other than that you can return to UK and live again if it doesn’t work for you here at any time.

Yes, but with residency, while living in Spain, should the poster go back to England to visit, the poster would not be entitled to free healthcare under the NHS. That would only be available again if the poster returned to England to live.
You are a Spanish resident but you will always be a UK Citizen unless you relinquish this. So your rights in the UK stand should you ever wish to return.
