Hello
Our luggage wasn't sent on the flight from Manchester yesterday. We have to return to Almeria Airport to collect it in person, so we need to hire a car either pick up today 3rd August, or in the morning of 4th August.
Struggling to find a car hire place where we can pick up the car near to SJDLT and return to same, possibly keeping the car for 3 days or maybe one week if that works out a better deal. Would appreciate any advice.

I think there is a car hire place in the estate agents across the road from La Bruja.

Ah thank you! I know the one you mean but unfortunately can't remember the name of it, and Google maps is out of date.

HI, no luck locally unfortunately. It seems the best way to hire a car is from an airport, which we normally do. But this time of year the prices are extortionate and vehicles in short supply. We thought we could manage without a car this time, but weren't expecting our luggage not to be loaded on the plane!
I've managed to get a car from a last minute cancelled booking but not available until Monday and that means travelling to Mojocar to collect it.

Oh no, what a dreadful start to your holiday. 😣 Everyone in Terreros is so helpful, I'm sure someone will come to your rescue...It is so inconvenient with no transport links to the village though but I agree hire cars are extortionate this year. May I ask how you travelled to SJLT from the airport - I may need to do the same x
